Ironvale Works
Machinist at a lathe in a machine shop

About Ironvale

A toolroom that grew into a factory.

We started with two mills and a promise to hold the number on the drawing. Twenty-four years on, the promise is the same and the floor is bigger.

Principles

Three rules on the wall by the door.

1

Say the real lead time

If the honest answer is 12 days, we say 12 days. Our 99 percent on-time figure comes from not overpromising.

2

Flag it before we cut it

Every RFQ gets an engineer's read. A drawing error found in DFM costs nothing. Found on the floor, it costs a week.

3

Show the data

Inspection reports, weld logs and torque records are part of the product, not an extra.
